What we charge
- Initial psychiatric consultation
- US$490 (USD)
- Follow-up session
- US$275 (USD)
- Currency
- Every figure on this page is in USD (United States dollars). We charge and refund in US dollars only.
The initial consultation is your first appointment with Dr. Omidvari. He takes your full history, reviews what you have already tried, reaches a working diagnosis and agrees a treatment plan with you. Follow-up sessions are every appointment after that — reviewing how you are doing, adjusting medication, and continuing psychotherapy where that is part of your plan.
Appointment lengths differ depending on what the appointment is for. Call (646) 874-9340 before you book and we will tell you how long your appointment is scheduled for and what it will cost, so you are not agreeing to a price without knowing what it buys.
IV ketamine and Spravato
We do not publish a single figure for IV ketamine here, because the total depends on how many sessions your psychiatrist recommends for you. That is a clinical decision, not a menu. What we will not do is let you start without knowing the cost.
Most patients do not pay for Spravato out of pocket, because we bill it to insurance — see the next section. If your plan will not cover it and you want to go ahead anyway, we give you the self-pay figure in writing before you decide.
Before you book either treatment, call (646) 874-9340and ask for a written estimate of the total cost. You are entitled to one — see your right to a Good Faith Estimate. We will not schedule a first infusion or a first Spravato dose until you have that figure in writing.
What is free, and what is not
The initial psychiatric consultation with Dr. Omidvari — the appointment at which your history is taken, a diagnosis is reached and a treatment plan is made — costs US$490 (USD). It is not free, and it has never been free.
If we offer you a short introductory phone call at no charge before that appointment, that call is an administrative conversation about whether we are the right practice for you, what treatment would cost and when we could see you. No diagnosis is made on it, nothing is prescribed on it, and it is not a substitute for the paid evaluation.
This page is the authoritative statement of what we charge. A short line in a button, a summary elsewhere on the site or an advertisement cannot set a price; where any of them appears to differ from the figures above, the figures above are the ones that apply to your appointment.
These prices can change
The prices above are effective August 6, 2026. We may change them in future, and if we do we update this page. The price we quote you before you book is the price you pay for that appointment — a change published here never applies backwards to an appointment you have already agreed to.
Which services we bill to insurance, and which we do not
We do not have one blanket answer for this, and any page that gives you one is misleading you. It is different for each treatment, so here it is treatment by treatment.
Spravato (esketamine) — billed to insurance
Spravato is the treatment we bill to insurance directly. Our team handles prior authorization, which many plans require before they will cover it, and we submit the claim on your behalf.
Coverage varies by plan, so we verify your benefits before your first session and tell you what we find. Even where a plan covers Spravato, you may still owe a copay, coinsurance or an unmet deductible. Those amounts are set by your insurer, not by us, and they are your responsibility.
We are not publishing a list of plan names on this page yet, because a list that is accurate for one treatment and wrong for another is worse than no list at all. Until that list appears here, please do not rely on an insurer logo you have seen on this site. Call (646) 874-9340 with your insurer and your member ID and we will check your specific plan and tell you what you would owe, before you book anything.
IV ketamine, medication management and psychotherapy — out-of-network and self-pay
These three services are out-of-network. We do not bill an insurer for them and we are not paid by an insurer for them. You pay us directly at the time of the visit.
Afterwards we give you a detailed superbill — an itemised receipt with the diagnosis and procedure codes your insurer needs. You submit it to your plan yourself and, if your plan has out-of-network benefits, your insurer reimburses you directly.
Whether you are reimbursed at all, and how much, is entirely your insurer’s decision. It depends on your out-of-network benefits, your deductible and your plan’s allowed amounts. Reimbursement is not guaranteed, we cannot promise a figure, and you owe us the full fee whether or not your insurer pays you anything.
Insurance does not work the same way for every service we offer. Spravato is billed to insurance; the services listed above as self-pay are not, whatever insurer logos appear alongside them elsewhere on the site as a general indication of the plans we work with. This page states how each individual service is billed, and it is the statement that applies. If you are unsure which applies to you, call us before you book and we will tell you exactly what you will owe.
There is more detail about coverage and benefit checks on our insurance page.

When you are charged
For every service we do not bill to insurance, payment is due at the time of the visit. You are charged for the appointment you have just had, not in advance and not on a running account.
For Spravato, we bill your insurer after the session. Anything your plan leaves to you — a copay, coinsurance, or an amount applied to your deductible — is due when we invoice you for it.
If any part of your care ever has to be paid for before the appointment, we tell you that in writing before you book, and that payment is covered by the refund terms below.
Accepted payment methods
We accept major credit and debit cards, in person at the clinic. If you need to pay another way, call (646) 874-9340 before your appointment and we will tell you what we can accept. We do not take payment in any currency other than USD.
There is no payment form anywhere on weleclinicnyc.com and no card number is stored on this website. Where an online payment is taken at all, it happens in our booking system at appointments.weleclinicnyc.com and nowhere else.
If an email, text message or chat that claims to come from us asks you to send card details, do not send them. Call (646) 874-9340 instead and check with us first.
How and where services are delivered
In-person care is provided at our office at 1123 Broadway, Suite 1117, New York, NY 10010, United States. The office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern Time.
All ketamine and Spravato treatments are administered on-site under direct physician monitoring. We never dispense, mail or provide ketamine or esketamine for use outside the clinic.
Spravato and IV ketamine are available at our New York office and nowhere else. Neither can be provided by telehealth, and neither is ever sent to you.
Telehealth appointments are available only if you are physically located in New Yorkat the time of the appointment. That is a licensing requirement, not a preference, and we cannot make an exception to it — including for a patient who normally lives in New York but happens to be elsewhere that day. The rules, and what happens if a connection fails mid-session, are set out on our telehealth page.
How soon you can be seen
How quickly we can see you depends on the treatment and on the schedule that week. When you call (646) 874-9340, we tell you the first appointment we can actually offer before you commit to anything. If you need care sooner than we can provide it, we will say so rather than hold a place for you that does not help.
If we have to reschedule you
Occasionally we have to move an appointment — clinician illness, an emergency in the clinic, or severe weather that closes the office. When that happens we contact you as early as we can and offer you the next available time.
You are never charged for an appointment that we cancelled or moved. If you had already paid for it and you would rather not rebook, we refund you in full.
Cancellation and no-show policy
Appointments are reserved for you personally. When one is missed without notice, that time cannot be given to another patient who needed it, which is why a notice period exists at all.
Call (646) 874-9340 and we will tell you exactly how much notice your appointment requires, and whether any fee applies, before you book it. Notice is measured back from the scheduled start time of your appointment and starts running from the moment we receive your call or your cancellation in the booking system.
Late cancellation and no-show fees
We are not publishing a fee amount on this page until we can state the exact figure. Until one appears here, we will not charge you a late-cancellation or no-show fee that you were not told about, as a specific dollar amount, before your appointment.
A late-cancellation or no-show fee cannot be billed to insurance. No plan pays for an appointment that did not happen, so the fee is yours to pay and it does not count towards your deductible.
How to cancel or reschedule
- Call (646) 874-9340. This is the fastest way and the one we recommend, because you get a confirmation from a person.
- Or cancel in our booking system at appointments.weleclinicnyc.com. Your notice is timed from when the system records the cancellation. These terms apply to appointments booked there in exactly the same way.
Exceptions we make
Illness, a family or medical emergency, and severe weather are all reasons we waive a fee. Life happens, and this policy exists to protect the schedule, not to punish you for a bad week.
To ask for an exception, call (646) 874-9340 and tell us what happened. You do not have to give us medical details or documentation to ask, and asking is not held against you.
Refunds
What is not refundable
A session that has taken place is not refundable. You were given the psychiatrist’s time, the room and, for infusion and Spravato sessions, monitoring throughout — and that is what you paid for.
How well a treatment works is not a basis for a refund. No treatment we provide is guaranteed to work, we tell you that before you start, and a course of care that does not help you as much as you hoped is not a service we failed to deliver.
A late-cancellation or no-show fee that was correctly charged is not refunded, unless we agree to waive it for one of the reasons above.
What is refundable
Anything you paid for that we did not deliver is refunded to you in full. That covers an appointment we cancelled, a session in a course you paid for and then decided not to have, a duplicate charge, and any amount you were overcharged.
If your insurer later pays for something you had already paid us for directly, we refund the overlap to you rather than keeping both.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid with. We do not refund a card payment in cash, by cheque or by transfer, and we cannot refund to a different card or to someone else’s card. That is a card-network rule and it protects you as much as it constrains us.
To ask for a refund, call (646) 874-9340 during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern Time). Tell us the date of the appointment and the amount. We aim to send an approved refund back to your card within five business days of agreeing it. After that, your bank decides when it shows up on your statement — usually a further five to ten business days.
Packages, series and recurring charges
We do not sell memberships or subscriptions, and we do not set up automatic recurring charges. There is no standing authority on your card and nothing renews on its own. Each appointment is booked and charged on its own.
IV ketamine is normally recommended as a series of sessions rather than a single one. That series is a clinical recommendation, not a prepaid package: each session is booked and paid for separately, you can stop at any point, and stopping costs you nothing beyond the sessions you have already had.
If we ever do offer a package or a prepaid series, we will publish the total price, how many sessions it covers, what each session includes, when each charge is taken, how to cancel and the date cancellation takes effect — here on this page, and again in writing before you agree to it.
Your right to a Good Faith Estimate
If you are uninsured, or you have insurance but are not using it for your care with us, federal law gives you the right to a written estimate of what your treatment will cost — before you schedule it. Ask us for one at any time; you do not need a reason. If your final bill comes in at least $400 more than the estimate we gave you, you can dispute that bill. You have 120 calendar days from the date on the bill to start the process.
The full detail — what the estimate contains, when we have to give it to you, and how the dispute process works — is on our Good Faith Estimate page.
Billing questions and disputes
- Billing enquiries
- Call (646) 874-9340 and ask for billing.
- Hours the line is answered
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern Time
- By post
- 1123 Broadway, Suite 1117, New York, NY 10010, United States
Please talk to us before you ask your bank or card issuer to reverse a charge. A chargeback opens a formal dispute that takes weeks to resolve and holds the money on both sides while it runs. A phone call is almost always faster, and most billing questions turn out to be a charge that was correct but was not explained well enough.
We answer what we can while you are on the phone. Where a question needs looking into, we tell you when to expect an answer and we come back to you in writing.
If our answer does not settle it
- If the dispute is about a bill that came in materially higher than a Good Faith Estimate we gave you, the federal patient-provider dispute resolution process is open to you. Start at cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
- If the dispute is about a card charge and we cannot resolve it between us, your card issuer has its own dispute process and you are entitled to use it.
- A complaint about your care rather than your bill is a separate route. Our Terms of Use set out how to raise one and how it is handled.
