- weleclinicnyc.com and appointments.weleclinicnyc.com
Those two domains are the only websites the practice owns or operates. weleclinicnyc.com is this site; appointments.weleclinicnyc.com is where appointments are booked. Any other site using our name is not ours, and we are not responsible for it.
The licences, board certification and registry identifiers behind the care we provide are published in full, with links you can check them against, on our Credentials page.
Accepting these terms
By using this website — browsing it, submitting a form, opening the chat window, or following a link from it to book an appointment — you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site; call us on (646) 874-9340 instead and we will help you by phone.
These terms are effective from August 6, 2026. We may update them as the practice, the law or the technology on this site changes. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page, and the updated terms apply from that date to your continued use of the site. We do not apply changes retroactively to something you did before the change. If a change is significant — for example, a change to how disputes are handled — we will say so plainly at the top of this page for at least thirty days.
These terms govern the website. They are not your treatment agreement. The terms of your care are set out in the consent documents you sign with us, and those documents control if the two ever appear to differ.
This site is information, not medical advice
Everything on this website is general information about psychiatric care and about the treatments we offer. It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnosis, and it is not a substitute for a conversation with a qualified clinician who knows your history. Do not delay seeking care, and do not stop or change a medication, because of something you read here.
Using this site does not make you our patient. No physician-patient relationship is created by browsing these pages, by submitting a form, by using the chat window, by emailing us or by calling to ask a question. That relationship begins only when you have an appointment with a clinician here and that clinician has evaluated you individually.
Our full clinical disclosures — including the FDA status of the medications we use, the risks and side effects that come with them, and the fact that no outcome can be promised — are on the Medical Disclaimer page. Please read it before you rely on anything a treatment page here says.
This site is not for emergencies
Wele Clinic is not an emergency service. If you're experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you're having thoughts of suicide, call or text 988.
Our forms, the chat window, email and voicemail are not monitored around the clock. They are read during office hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Eastern Time. Nothing you send through them reaches a clinician immediately, and nothing you send should be treated as having been received until someone from the practice replies to you.
If you are in crisis, or you are worried about someone who is, do not wait for a reply from us. Call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Those services are staffed at all hours; we are not.
Appointments, fees and cancellation
Booking an appointment through this site, or through appointments.weleclinicnyc.com, reserves you a time with a clinician. It is not a commitment by us to provide any particular treatment, and it is not a commitment by you to accept one. What care is appropriate for you — including whether a medication or a procedure is suitable at all — is decided by a licensed physician after an individual clinical evaluation, and only then.
In-person care, including all Spravato and IV ketamine treatment, is provided only at our office in New York. Telehealth appointments are available only to patients who are physically located in New York at the time of the visit. We cannot treat you if you are located anywhere else, because a physician must be licensed in the place where the patient is. The details are on our Telehealth page.
All of our fees, when payment is due, which services are billed to insurance and which are self-pay, and the notice we need to cancel or reschedule without a charge, are set out in the Fees, Payment & Cancellation Policy. Please read it before your first appointment — it is the document that governs what you pay. If you are uninsured or not using insurance for a service, you are also entitled to a written Good Faith Estimate of what your care will cost before you are scheduled.
All prices shown anywhere on this site are in USD (United States dollars). We are a practice located in the United States, at 1123 Broadway, Suite 1117, New York, NY 10010, and that is the address to write to us about any charge.
If you see a charge from us that you do not recognise, please call us on (646) 874-9340before disputing it with your bank — we can almost always resolve it the same day.
Third-party services used on this site
Parts of this website are built and hosted by other companies. We name them here so you know who is handling what:
- Online booking. Appointments are booked at appointments.weleclinicnyc.com, a service provided by RunPractice.
- Forms. The intake form on our contact page and the insurance-verification form on our insurance page are built and processed by RunPractice (assets.runpractice.ai, api.runpractice.ai).
- Chat. The chat window in the corner of every page is provided by RunPractice.
- Analytics and session recording. We use Google Tag Manager and Contentsquare/Hotjar to understand how the site is used and where it is confusing.
- Reviews. Our public review profiles are hosted by Zocdoc and Google. Those pages are theirs, not ours, and we do not control what is posted on them.
Each of these services is governed by its own terms and its own privacy policy, which apply to you in addition to these terms. Where we link out to another website, the link is for your convenience — it is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for that site’s content, its accuracy or how it handles your information.
What we collect through these services, what each vendor receives, and how we protect health information are explained in our Privacy Policy and, for information that becomes part of your medical record, in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Website chat
The chat window on this site is there for straightforward things: finding the office, asking about hours, or being pointed to the right page or the right phone number. It is not a clinical service and it is not a way to reach your clinician.
Please do not type clinical details, symptoms, medication histories, insurance identifiers or anything else sensitive into the chat window. If you need to tell us something clinical, call us on (646) 874-9340 or bring it to your appointment, where it goes into your medical record and is protected accordingly.
The chat window is operated for us by an outside software provider, not by our clinical team. Whoever or whatever is on the other end of it, nothing said in chat is medical advice, nothing said in chat creates a physician-patient relationship, and nothing said in chat is a substitute for being seen.
If you would rather speak to a person, do not use the chat — call us on (646) 874-9340 during office hours and a member of our team will answer.
Chat is not monitored around the clock and it is never the right channel in an emergency. In an emergency, call 911, or call or text 988.
Acceptable use
This is a small medical practice’s website. Please use it the way it is meant to be used. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, harvest or otherwise collect content or data from this site by automated means, or copy the site in bulk for any purpose.
- Attempt to reach, view or interfere with anyone else's information, account, appointment or records.
- Attempt to probe, scan, overload, disrupt or circumvent the security of this site, the booking site, the forms or the chat service, or to introduce malicious code of any kind.
- Use this site for anything unlawful, or to send anything harassing, threatening, defamatory or obscene.
- Impersonate another person, a clinician, a member of our staff or the practice itself, or misrepresent your connection to anyone.
- Use anything you find here to advertise or solicit, including by collecting contact details for marketing.
If you believe you have found a security problem on this site, please tell us rather than testing it further. Call us on (646) 874-9340 and ask for whoever handles the website; we will follow up and we will not retaliate against anyone who reports a problem in good faith.
Intellectual property
The text, layout, design, photography and the Wele Clinic name and wordmark on this site are owned by Omidvari Psychiatry P.C. or used under licence. You are welcome to read the site, print a page for your own use, and share a link to it. You may not republish, sell or adapt our content, or use our name or wordmark, without our written permission.
Insurance company names and logos shown anywhere on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners. They appear only to indicate the billing arrangements described on the page they sit on. Their presence does not mean the insurer sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with this practice, and it does not by itself mean a particular service is covered under your plan — coverage depends on your individual benefits, which we verify with you before your first session.
The same is true of the names of medications and of the training institutions mentioned on this site: they belong to their owners and are used only to describe accurately what we provide and where our physician trained.
Accuracy of content and no guarantee of results
We work to keep this site accurate and current, and we review it when our services, our fees or the law change. Even so, medicine moves, and information here can become out of date between reviews. If something on this site matters to a decision you are making about your care, ask us to confirm it — do not rely on the page alone.
Individual results vary, and nothing on this site is a promise of any particular outcome. Descriptions of treatments, published research and general information about what patients experience are not predictions about what will happen for you. No responsible clinician can guarantee a result, and we do not.
If you find something on this site that looks wrong, please tell us on (646) 874-9340. We would rather correct it than leave it standing.
Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, this website is provided as it is and as it is available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, that it will work on every device or browser, or that the third-party services embedded in it will always be available.
To the fullest extent the law allows, neither Omidvari Psychiatry P.C.nor anyone working for it is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising out of your use of this website — for example, lost time, lost data or a missed opportunity because the site or a booking tool was unavailable.
Nothing in these terms limits, excludes or affects our responsibility for the professional medical care we provide, or your rights as a patient under New York and federal law. Those duties are owed to you by a licensed physician, they are governed by the standard of care and by your consent documents, and a website notice cannot and does not reduce them. Nothing here excludes liability that the law does not permit us to exclude.
Governing law and how disputes are handled
These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of this website, are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree that the courts located in New York County, New York are the venue for any such dispute, and we each consent to their jurisdiction.
Before any of that, please talk to us. Almost everything that goes wrong — a charge you did not expect, a message that was not returned, something on this site that is unclear or incorrect — is quicker to fix directly. Call (646) 874-9340 during office hours, or write to us at 1123 Broadway, Suite 1117, New York, NY 10010. We acknowledge every complaint we receive and give you a substantive answer within ten business days; if something takes longer than that to look into, we tell you why and when to expect an answer.
Raising a concern with us never affects the care you receive. If a concern is about your privacy or your medical records rather than about this website, our Notice of Privacy Practices explains how to complain to us and, separately, to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a part of these terms on one occasion, that is not a waiver of it.
